Park Lane School is situated within Macclesfield Learning Zone, alongside Macclesfield College, Sixth Form College and Macclesfield High School. This has enabled us to expand the learning opportunities we offer our pupils through access to teaching facilities, curriculum resources and social opportunities.
We value and support the achievements all our pupils make and commend them in their determination to achieve all that they can. The school staff and Governors are committed to providing high quality education and care to ensure our pupils are encouraged, supported and given every opportunity to achieve their full potential. This was endorsed by OFSTED who, in June 2007, judged the school to be ‘’outstanding’’. The school is a Specialist School for Communication and Interaction, enabling us to promote and expand our good practice within the school and in the wider community.
Parents and carers of our pupils are seen as our partners in the education and wellbeing of our pupils. They are invited tobecome involved in the life of the school and to play an active role in the children’s education. We feel it is vital to encourage partnerships with other schools, other professionals and community organisations that will benefit our pupils and their families.
