The Rossendale Trust
The Rossendale Trust is a Macclesfield based charity (Reg. no 504427) which was established over 35 years ago at its current base in Hollin Lane, Sutton, Macclesfield.
Our Statement of Purpose: “Enabling and actively supporting adults with learning disabilities through continually monitoring their needs, promoting social inclusion and maximising each individual’s opportunities for choice”
Today the Trust is undergoing major change as we build 32 new bedrooms in eight purpose built apartments at Rossendale Hall in Sutton. The intention is to provide all of our residents with a brand new bedroom of their own, with a secure tenancy and with caring support as needed. Not only is this a major construction project, it is also a big change of philosophy in the way care is delivered and in the rights and the choices of the individual residents we care for.
We are delighted that the Macclesfield Beer Festival has chosen to support the Trust in this demanding period of transformation.
